Francisco has been making guitars for ages !

Like many, he started by repairing his own guitars and those of his friends, then later he worked in a guitar store where he was a salesman but also began to repair and make adjustments and tuning of the guitars that passed by the workshop.

He then tried his hand at making guitars with Eki Hoffmann from “Formentera Guitars”, just as Nik Huber or Gunnar Örn Sigurðsson from “Örn Guitars” who also spent time there.

Today, Francisco has regular contact with luthiers around the world with whom they share in order to be in constant evolution, new methods, technical tips and tricks to constantly improve and optimize his manufacturing process.

Fran has always been influenced by British groups like Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Thin Lizzy, but it was with Phil Lynott’s solo albums that he discovered Mark Knopfler in 1980.

At the time (and still today), he was immersed in Heavy Metal and Hard Rock, but listening to Mark Knopfler in “King´s Call” makes him listen carefully, he does research and falls on first Dire Straits album !

“There is something unique about the sound of the guitar, the mix, the warm rhythm section, this album has a lot of ‘blues’ it gives off a feeling, a bit like some Thin Lizzy albums.”

It was his first contact with Mark Knopfler, much later he met the “Brothers In Band”, which is a Dire Straits Tribute Band.

They ask him to work with them as a guitar technician, it was his open door to the world of Mark Knopfler and Dire Straits.

He therefore set about shaping guitars inspired by the models of Mark Knopfler, the Dream Machine, the red Schecter, the Fender, the Pensa Suhr MKI etc … not only for Brothers In Band but for many customers and Lovers of MK.

“I’m totally into the sound of MK, which is why I started coiling my own single mics which I described as “The Single Bucker Tone”, a brilliant tone but round at the same time, without sharp notes !!

Francisco fait des guitares depuis des lustres !

Comme beaucoup, il a commencé par réparer ses propres guitares et celles de ses amis, puis plus tard il a travaillé dans un magasin de guitares ou il était vendeur mais s’est également mis à réparer et faire des ajustements et réglages des guitares qui passaient par l’atelier.

Il s’est ensuite essayer à fabriquer des guitares avec Eki Hoffmann de “Formentera Guitars”, tout comme Nik Huber ou encore Gunnar Örn Sigurðsson de “Örn Guitars” qui y ont aussi passé du temps.

Aujourd’hui, Francisco a des contact régulier avec des luthiers du monde entier avec lesquels ils partagent pour être en évolution constante, les nouvelles méthodes, les trucs et astuces techniques pour améliorer et optimiser constamment son processus de fabrication.

Fran a toujours été influencé par les groupes britanniques comme Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Thin Lizzy, mais c’est avec les albums solo de Phil Lynott qu’il découvre Mark Knopfler en 1980.
A l’époque, (et aujourd’hui encore), il baigne dans le Heavy Metal et le Hard rock, mais écouter Mark Knopfler dans “King´s Call” lui fait tendre l’oreille avec attention, il fait des recherches et tombe sur le premier album de Dire Straits !

“Le son de la guitare, le mixage, la section rythmique chaleureuse a quelque chose d’unique, cet album a beaucoup de “blues” il s’en dégage un sentiment, un peu comme dans certains albums de Thin Lizzy”.

C’était son premier contact avec Mark Knopfler, bien plus tard il rencontre les “Brothers In Band”, qui est un Tribute Band de Dire Straits. Ils lui demandent de travailler avec eux en tant que technicien guitare, c’était sa porte ouverte vers l’univers de Mark Knopfler et Dire Straits.
Il se mets donc à façonner des guitares inspirées des modèles de Mark Knopfler, la Dream Machine, la Schecter rouge, la Fender, la Pensa Suhr MKI etc… non seulement pour Brothers In Band mais pour beaucoup de clients et Amoureux de MK.

“Je suis totalement dans le son de MK, c’est pourquoi j’ai commencé à enrouler mes propres micros simples que j’ai décrits comme
«The Single Bucker Tone», un ton brillant mais rond à la fois, sans notes criardes !!
